MATHS NEWS FLASH!

Our Y6 Maths Team won their round in the NYMA (National Young Mathematicians' Award). They will progress to the Regional Final on the 5th December. If they are successful at that stage they will progress to the National Final taking place at Cambridge University.

NYMA Comments:  The children were a credit to our school. Rothersthorpe scored full marks in challenge 1 and 2. They worked well as a team.

We are all super proud of them.

A massive well done to our Y5/6 girls football team who won the S.Northants & Daventry District football tournament on Thursday and are through to the County Finals in January. 

They produced some very good skills - drew 1 game, won 4 games and scored 12 goals. They improved with every match and showed real determination. Everyone is really proud of them. Thank you to Gavin from GLK for coaching our new team.
