Not all classrooms have four walls! When you take learning outside you open up a new world of experiences and opportunities. Our School Council have been busy working on school improvement projects. Today they helped us become members of the Woodland Trust and will lead the school in taking part in fun, practical projects while helping the environment and improving our grounds.

Welcome back, everyone! We hope you all had a wonderful break and are ready for another exciting term ahead! Our last term was full of fun, laughter, and learning, and we can't wait to continue that journey with our amazing pupils. From National Spelling competitions, Clarinet Concerts and Careers Days, to Tag Rugby Success: Our budding athletes demonstrated great teamwork and determination in their tag rugby sessions, developing not just skills but confidence on the pitch. Road Safety Week: The children impressed us with their enthusiasm for learning how to stay safe on the roads, a vital skill for their independence. The Nativity Performance: The festive season truly began with our beautiful Nativity play. Every child shone on stage, reminding us of the joy and wonder of this time of year. A Visit from Santa: Excitement filled the school when we had a special visit from Santa himself! Santa Fun Run: We combined fun and fitness as pupils donned their Santa hats and took part in our festive fun run, raising money while keeping active. Thank you for all of your support and kind donations. Our VIP assembly celebrated the incredible achievements of our children, highlighting their progress, kindness, and hard work this term. Church Service Finale: We ended the term with a stunning Christmas service at the church, where the children's singing and reflections filled everyone with festive cheer. Let's get ready for more exciting projects, new challenges, and loads of fun this term! Year 5 & 6 Girls' Tag Rugby Team Shine at Northampton Saints! Today was an unforgettable day for the Year 5 and 6 girls' tag rugby team as they visited the iconic Northampton Saints stadium in the lead-up to next year's Women's Rugby World Cup! The day was packed with excitement, learning, and competitive action, leaving everyone inspired! The morning started with a fascinating stadium tour, where the girls got to see behind the scenes of one of the country's top rugby clubs. A highlight was meeting international players, who shared invaluable advice and encouragement, leaving the team feeling motivated and starstruck! In the afternoon, the focus shifted to the pitch as the girls competed in a tag rugby tournament. Their teamwork, determination, and skill were on full display, making everyone proud. It was fantastic to see the sporting values of respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship shining through in every match. A special moment of the day was seeing two iMAT schools, Badby and Rothersthorpe, join forces for this experience. The camaraderie was brilliant, but when they faced each other on the field, the competition was fierce! Both teams showed incredible effort and spirit, making it a game to remember. We couldn't be prouder of these girlsnot only for their performance on the pitch but also for their fantastic behaviour and positivity throughout the day. They've set the bar high and shown what the future of women's rugby looks like. Here's to many more days like this as we gear up for an exciting competition next term as well as the Women's Rugby World Cup next year!
